International Talk Like A Day every September 19 is an actual Holiday. Well the Disney Company celebrated with us hosting their Press Junket with a press Pirate Experience. Pirates For Hire were contracted by the mega entertainment giant to treat their quests from press, celebrities, and social media stars to the release party of the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales digital and DVD release with some amazing props that turned the beach just north of the Santa Monica pier into a Pirate Boot Camp of challenges from Learning to talk like a pirate, Loading a cannon, solving a treasure map puzzle, sword fight, hoist the jolly roger, fill the treasure chest, and tell a joke or make a toast like a pirate. Pirates For Hire had the pleasure to work with one of our favorite actors from the POTC franchise actor/stuntman Marty Klebba who is just one of the most awesome pirates you would definitely want on your crew and a friend. PFH loves Marty Klebba! We also had the pleasure of meeting and working with Tony Angelotti (Johnny Depp’s Stunt Double) and Lisa Hoyle (Kira Knightly’s Stunt Double) who hosted the Fight Like a Pirate. These two were such the Pirate Troopers hanging with us and are just great friends now a part of the PFH family. Thank you Chris Belcher from Disney for bringing the magic together and again relying on PFH to bring the Action, Adventure, and Mayhem, “PIRATE!” to the pirate camp on Santa Monica’s Beach. Also a big shout out to our friends that were on duty at the Santa Monica Beach Police for supporting us for the whole experience…
