Captain Hook

HookCAPTAIN HOOK has been equally feared and adored for over a hundred years. The most notorious villain to ever set sail, legend says Hook was Blackbeard’s boatswain, and that he was the only man Long John Silver ever feared.

ROD KINDLUND appeared in the films Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3, played a villain in a music video for the band Paramore, and can be seen in the tram tour video at Universal Studios Hollywood theme park.  His interest in J.M. Barrie’s pirate captain began when he played the lead in his hometown’s production of Peter Pan, and much of his Captain Hook wardrobe (right down to the rings) was worn on screen by actor Jason Isaacs in the 2003 film version.  Among other live performances, he has worked at some of the nation’s top-rated haunted attractions including Hobb’s Grove and at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, where he impersonated the character Spike from the television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  Rod has been employed at several of the major movie studios in various capacities, was the lead vocalist for the L.A. rock band Dame Fortune, and is now starting his own Halloween mask company, Hollywood Pirates F/X.
